The showbiz industry is a highly attractive niche. The glamorous lifestyle and voguish trends of top-notch actors lure individuals to toil their way into the world of dramatics. They desire to make a substantively flourishing career in the acting world to achieve sparkling luxurious lifestyles. Thus, it becomes the dream of every young actor to become the leading face or brand.

However, noteworthy is the actuality that securing a position in the showbiz industry is not so easy. There is fierce competition as every actor desires to emerge as a phenomenal performer. The finest of individuals are rejected or not welcomed due to a lack of talent or acting skills. Further, this chic yet fast industry demands individuals acquiring exceptional acting skills and being physically fit.

Following that, it is evident that individuals who are born different or possess slightly unique bodily characters are often not given a chance or welcomed to exhibit their top-tier acting skills. The acting industry is very selective and brings down even normal individuals if they deem them not fit for the respective character. As a result, talking about young actors who have physical differences or disabilities is not welcomed wholeheartedly solely based on not being well enough to play the required characters.

Discerning the acting industry, it is evident that we do not see many actors with physical disabilities. That is because they are not given a chance! It is regretful to say that the industry is drenched in deceit and fraud. Everything which is shown to the viewers is sugar-coated. The realities of the practical world are hidden from them for the sake of reviews and Target Rating Points (TRPs)

However, it is crucial to show the viewers the world’s actualities that disabled or unique individuals are no less than the others. In some cases, they acquire exceptional expertise, which is not even near-normal individuals. Nevertheless, disabled individuals are not alien to the world, and their slight differences make them unique and special. Hence, they should be welcomed wholeheartedly and given chances on the same ratio as ordinary individuals.

Further, this will help bring diversity to the world of showbiz. Individuals from different physical features will make up the showbiz industry. This will enhance performance as every person is granted a unique set of abilities and capabilities. There is a dire need to bring a positive change in this industry and stave off the negative energy which has encircled the showbiz world.

Based in the United States, Alex Barone is a fine example of someone who has made his name in the industry despite being a congenital amputee. The passionate actor did not let his disability fetter his acting career. He stayed consistent and toiled his way through to emerge into a top-notch actor today who has worked with numerous famous personalities like Michael Keaton, Mila Kunis & Eli Roth.

His recent work includes creating and hosting CryptTV’s docu-series “A Little Different”. He will play “Tucker Smith” in Hulu’s upcoming miniseries “Dopesick.” Further, he is granted the character “Dean Barton” in Netflix’s upcoming feature film “Luckiest Girl Alive.” Alex is also chosen to be in the 2019 ABC Discovers Showcase.

The energetic, fun, and passionate actor has used his physical appearance and disability to spread diversity in the showbiz industry. He is a role model for many, especially children who are born different. He is raising awareness on how one should not let themselves down just because of their physical differences. He is a motivational speaker and mentor at “No Limbs Foundation.” Through his role in TV and film, he is staving of this negativity by playing diverse characters which are not solely written for disabled beings.
